We are looking to expand our team of flooring installers.

You will be responsible for the installation of all types of flooring to both domestic and commercial environments. This will include carpet, vinyl and luxury vinyl tiles.

We have an excellent reputation locally for our high level of professionalism and best quality workmanship. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and hassle-free service. We are respectable, clean and tidy and always approach each job with a helpful and confident attitude.

You will be the face of our business and therefore must have excellent communication skills, be polite and complete any task leaving the customer beyond satisfied.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Well-presented, likeable and personable.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and adaptable to all situations.
  • Self-motivated and passionate for providing a highly professional service.
  • Current full driving licence valid for use in the UK.
  • Previous experience in fitting all types of flooring.

BENEFICIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Other skills – carpentry, basic brickwork, floor preparation & relevant work experience is all a benefit.
  • Emergency first aid at work
  • Forklift license (not essential).

Customer service is at the heart of what we do…

  • Move any large and heavy items of furniture from each room requiring fitting.
  • Cut and lay the underlay, gripper rods and flooring, keeping the existing underlay and rods where possible (James will discuss this with you during his initial visit).
  • Trim the bottom of doors (where necessary) to ensure they move with ease.*
  • Remove old flooring* (this can be arranged prior to the fitting itself).*
  • Remove all rubbish and vacuum each room, ensuring all affected areas are left clean and tidy.

*These items, if required are chargeable.
